About the Monster Jam East Tour
Monster Jam® is a points-based format that showcases the best lineup of Monster Jam vehicles that deliver what fans want to see most…more trucks, more racing, more freestyle, more donuts, more wheelies, more action!
The East tour tests the versatility of the athletes as they go head-to-head in seven different competitions driving three different vehicles — Monster Jam trucks, Monster Jam Speedsters and Monster Jam ATVs.
These athletes battle for points in challenging racing and freestyle events that push themselves and their machines to the limit. The point leader will receive an automatic bid to the prestigious Monster Jam World Finals® to compete for the title of World Champion.
Why you should go to see this show!
This is my first time going to Monster Jam. The only thing I had really heard about it was that it is loud. And it is. It wasn’t as loud as I expected since I’ve been to lots of concerts, but if you have kids going, you want to bring them some headphones or earplugs.
You’ll be pumped up as those engines roar to life. My son, his friend, and I all went to the 1 PM show in Cleveland, and it was a blast! The competitions were so much fun to watch. A blogging friend of mine and her kids were there too. Her little girl was cheering for Scooby Doo since it’s driven by a girl! Her son was a Zombie fan. My son’s friend is a Grave Digger fan. I was a fan of all of them, though I am partial to Grave Digger who won the competition during our show. It was neck and neck with Zombie leading most of the show, but then Zombie had truck issues! I felt bad for him!
This is something you’ve got to experience for yourself. I figured it was more of male thing, but there were many families in attendance. Be prepared for your kids to want all of the merchandise showcasing their favorite trucks and drivers. Most of all be prepared to have fun!
Don’t miss out on your chance to see this! There are still tickets available for tonight’s 7 PM show and tomorrow’s (2/19) shows at 1 PM and 6:30 PM.
