How many hours do you spend on your phone during a typical day? Different studies have been done about the average person’s mobile phone usage. If you’re in the average bracket, you spend between 3 and 5 hours a day on your phone! We browse social media, check our email, check the weather, chat with friends, etc. Why not use some of that time exercising your mind while you relax? Here is a fun way for you to relax and exercise your mind at the same time.
Jigsaw Puzzle
Jigsaw puzzles used to be a very popular pastime. They were a cheap source of entertainment during the Great Depression, and their popularity never really declined until video games and computers became affordable. I used to have so much fun doing jigsaw puzzles with my parents and sisters. It was relaxing yet challenging. When the internet was new (to me, anyway), I did do some puzzles online, but then social media became huge and took up the majority of my online time.
Somehow, I think we’ve all forgotten how to relax! Sure, we might think browsing the internet is relaxing, but it really isn’t. When you’re constantly on social media, you’re constantly thinking…comparing yourself to others…maybe even looking for ways to relax. Look no further. I found a way for you to relax and unwind after a hectic day. A way for you to kill time. relax and exercise your mind at the same time. It’s Jigsaw Puzzle, and it’s filled with vibrant, colorful puzzles.
You’ve got choices with Jigsaw Puzzle
These puzzles make you feel like you’re doing a real jigsaw puzzle because you can move the pieces around right on your phone or tablet. Choose from puzzle packs including: animals, nature, crafts, patterns, food, and artwork from famous artists. You can make them more or less challenging by increasing or decreasing the number of puzzle pieces. If you’re playing on your phone, you can have up to 400 pieces. Use your tablet, and you can choose up to 1024 pieces! You won’t have to worry about the cats knocking the pieces off either! Oh, maybe that’s just my cats, but I doubt it!
With traditional puzzles, you’ve only got so much space to store them in. Believe me, I know. My mother-in-law loves doing jigsaw puzzles, and when she moved, she really had to downsize her collection. With the Jigsaw Puzzle app, you can choose from over 20,000 puzzles! Can you even imagine storing 20,000 puzzles? Nope. Then you’d have to have some sort of organizing system, and let’s not even go there. Using Jigsaw Puzzle, you just search for the puzzle type you want to do like travel, crafting, cats, etc., and you’ll get a variety of options.
Speaking of options, if you feel like changing your background or listening to music while you work on your puzzle, you can do that too. Want a challenge? Adjust the puzzle clock and race against time! Just want to relax and work on a puzzle? Don’t worry about the timer!
My favorites
I’ve just begun using Jigsaw Puzzle, and I’m already having so much fun with it. You know me and my love of animals, so the animal puzzles are really fun for me to do. I also enjoy traveling, though I don’t get to do it nearly enough. I can escape while working on a travel themed puzzle and listening to some relaxing music with Jigsaw Puzzle. By the way, there are different daily puzzles too!
I love that I can take this app with me everywhere I go. I love reading, but there are times when I’m just not in the mood to read on my phone. Jigsaw Puzzle lets me have fun, relax and exercise my mind all while sitting in a waiting room or flying in a plane. It’s also fun to do while my son watches his television shows. He’s big on reality “guy” shows, and though I enjoy some of them, others are super boring to me! I can still be in the living room enjoying time with my adult “kids” while we each do our own thing.
I know you’re going to love playing Jigsaw Puzzle too! Relax. Exercise your mind. Unwind. Stimulate your brain. Jigsaw Puzzle will help you do it all!
