Who likes to think about aging skin? Anyone? I didn’t think so! I don’t like to think about it either, but as we age, our skin’s collagen production slows way down and our skin loses elasticity. Our skin also tends to be much drier too, and we need to think about keeping it moisturized in addition to fighting those lines and wrinkles. My thoughts about the serum
Back when I first tried Skin Actives Collagen Serum in 2013, I was in my early 40’s. Now I’m almost 49, and skin care weighs heavily on my mind! When I tried it then, I think it was a fairly new product.
It does the job
I used it as a treatment serum and could feel the difference in the elasticity of my skin. All throughout my 30’s I thought I was doing so great with this aging thing. People still tell me how young I look, but I can tell I’m aging. I see myself up-close and personal, and I can tell that my skin is getting saggy under my eyes and my upper cheeks.
It’s versatile
If you don’t need this for your face yet (if you’re still a youngster!), this can be used for your other skin needs as well. It’s meant for all skin types and for both men and women. It can be used on your body and hands as well as your face.
Skin care for dry hands and feet
Speaking of your hands, another product I love is Udderly Smooth.
When you live in the Midwest like I do, winter means dry air, cold air, and chapped skin! I try to make sure I dry them sufficiently and wear gloves outside; but try as I may, I still get chapped hands in the winter. I need help for my dry skin.
Many lotions I try burn my hands because they are so sensitive. Udderly Smooth’s Udder Cream doesn’t burn my hands, and it keeps them nice and soft. I love the texture of Udderly Smooth. Though you don’t really think about your feet when it comes to aging skin, my feet do get super dry and flaky in the winter. And they get rough in the summer from my wearing flip flops all of the time. The feeling of Udderly Smooth’s Shea Butter Foot Cream is also really light and silky. It isn’t the same texture as the body cream, however, it’s a bit heavier since your feet are usually rougher than your hands. The addition of the Shea butter gives it that silky smooth texture.
