The Hallmark Channel is one of my favorite channels. They have the best movies and television shows! All June, you can watch a brand new movie in the June Weddings month.
Saturday June 11th, Stop the Wedding premieres at 9:00 PM on Hallmark Channel. Starring Rachel Boston (“The Witches of East End,” “In Plain Sight”), Alan Thicke (“Growing Pains”), Teryl Rothery (“Cedar Cove”), stop the wedding is sure to become one of your favorites.
Anna Colton is a career-focused San Francisco divorce attorney whose busy professional life has replaced her desire for romance. When she learns that her widowed Aunt Belle has hastily agreed to marry Sean Castleberry, a charming veteran movie star — who’s been married multiple times — Anna flies to Belle’s Seattle home, determined to talk her out of it. There, she meets Sean’s son, Dr. Clay Castleberry, a handsome and successful surgeon who, perturbed by his father’s impulsivity, also plans to put a stop to the wedding. Though they immediately dislike and distrust one another, Anna and Clay discover they share common ground, and begin plotting to prevent the marriage from taking place.
Rachel Boston says, “My grandparents were married for 56 years and they both lived their life with kindness, compassion, strength, and grace. My grandmother always tells her friends I am looking for someone like my grandpa. And it’s true. He set the bar very high. Honesty, integrity, and old fashioned values. That’s what I look for. And if he can make me laugh, a best friend for life.”
Stop the Wedding is based on the book Stop the Wedding by Stephanie Bond. I can’t wait to watch this movie. Be sure you tune in Saturday, June 11th at 9 PM on Hallmark Channel.

A new movie to watch out for! I agree with Rachel “if he can make me laugh, a best friend for life.” – when it comes to finding a partner, find someone who you can connect with and laugh with!
