One Up Your Health with Nature Made
In case you haven’t noticed, it is already March! Have those New Year’s resolutions that you made on January 1st been long forgotten, or are you pushing through those tough spots? I am trying to take it one day at a time and look at little accomplishments as a big deal. If I’m not careful, I can look at a far off goal and think that it is just too hard to reach. I find that if I make goals that are easier to achieve, I feel great when I accomplish them.
Write down those little goals
Don’t you love crossing things off of lists? I know I do! Sometimes I’ll even write something down AFTER I did it, just so that I can cross it off! If you hang out at my blog much, you know that I see a counselor for grief and depression. She is a big believer in lists, and she always asks me if I’m keeping up with them. Sometimes I am, sometimes I’m not. Putting “make a list” on my list can even be something for me to cross off! She says to put something productive, something creative and something relaxing or good for your health on your lists. If you end up with just three things on your list, it’s all good.
Something productive, something creative, and something relaxing
Take a minute to think about everything you do in a day. What would be on your list? Mine would always include laundry, so that can be my productive thing for the day. I usually have dishes to unload and load too, so that goes on my list. If I’m feeling extra productive, I’ll even add vacuuming to my list!
My creative side usually comes out through something like writing which is why I love blogging. I have participated in National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) for 3 years with my daughter. It’s a blast and definitely gets my creative side going.
We know that relaxing and taking care of our health daily is important, so put it on your list! Taking Nature Made vitamins can go on your list. Nature Made vitamins play a critical role in a balanced lifestyle. Even when you’re having a rough day, that is one thing you can add to your daily regimen to get you on the right path. How about writing down, “Walk for 5 minutes.”? That’s something we can all do even on a bad day. Do some yoga or gentle stretching. Dance to some awesome eighties tunes… Just get your body moving!
Write down those little accomplishments
Another great list to make is one of your accomplishments for the day. Get a little journal and keep track of all the good you did that day.
- Took my Nature Made B-12 today
- Ate a bowl of cereal and blueberries for breakfast instead of that leftover cold pizza calling my name
- Had some grapes instead of eating a row of cookies
- Walked an extra 10 minutes
- Remembered to do the stretches the chiropractor told me to do
- Didn’t get stressed out at the fact that my son has 12 coats out on the dining room chair
- Washed, dried, folded AND put the laundry away in the same day
You get the picture. Seeing your accomplishments in writing are a huge boost! You can look back on them when you’re having an off day and say, “Hey, look at all I did on this day. It’s okay if I went for the pizza today. I didn’t do it these 5 other times.” It is all about balance, and Nature Made understands this.

My daughter was just diagnosed with a B12 deficiency, so she needs to be taking this vitamin. Thanks for the info.
The thing that keeps me healthy is walking a mile a day on my treadmill. If I don’t do it, I don’t feel well.
Christy Maurer says
It does make me feel better to cross stuff off! Walking is really the best exercise! I think lots of us are really lacking in B12! It seems more and more common.

A few months ago, I was prescribed mega doses of vitamin B-12. I went to see my doctor because of numbness, tingling and pain in my legs and hands. Diabetic Neuropathy was the one that was causing these symptoms. After a week of taking Vitamin B-12, the pain was gone, the numbness diminished. Vitamin B-12 supplements work really good!
Christy Maurer says
That is awesome how much it helped you. My sister is diabetic, and sometimes has those symptoms as well.
