When you’ve got pets, you’re always on the look-out for unique and fun pet products to try! I’ve got some great ones to share with you!

KittyRoo Sweatshirt

If you know me at all, you know I am a cat lady! As soon as I saw this, I knew this was one of the fun pet products I had to have. Even though the weather isn’t cold enough for me to wear a sweatshirt right now, I live in Ohio. It’s going to get cold again! And I’m pretty sure I’m going to have to get some more kittens for my KittyRoo! I’ll use any reason for new kittens! Our “kittens” are going to be 4 years old soon!

When this came in the mail, I tried it on right away, and it is so comfy! Check out how adorable it is! Don’t you want one? Trust me, you do.

The KittyRoo is a super-soft fleece sweatshirt that has a built-in kangaroo pouch that gives you the ability to snuggle your cat (or small dog) while keeping your hands free. Whether you want to relax on the couch, read a book, work on the computer or text, the KittyRoo provides your pet with a comfortable space to relax right near you.

The KittyRoo features:

  • A built-in snuggle pouch, which is also detachable making it easy to clean
  • Built-in paw gloves
  • Cute cat ears on the hood
  • Extra-long drawstrings with fluffy tips for play
  • Super-soft fleece material

The KittyRoo sweatshirt retails for $29.99 and is available for purchase on www.BuyKittyRoo.com. This sweatshirt runs in unisex sizing from M-XXL.

Bright Bopper

When I saw these, I figured the cats would love them! I mean what cats don’t love lights and balls? Well, ours were a little freaked out by them, honestly. But the outside cats love them. If you’ve been around my social media, you know how the neighbors a couple of houses down abandoned their kittens when they moved. We, being the kind cat people we are, started feeding and taking care of them. We got them all spayed and neutered and got one adopted out. The other three are still here. They are still not too crazy about people, but they do love it when we play with them!

The Bright Bopper is their kind of toy. They like chasing things, and this is something they can chase and fetch. Your cat may love some of these fun pet products.

The Bright Bopper is a touch activated LED toy which will keep your cat entertained all day. The Bright Bopper features:

  • Just press down to spring it into action
  • Lightweight so cats can bat and chase it
  • Stimulates all of your cat’s senses
  • Foam ball is safe for chewing
  • Mesh body great for cat’s claws
  • 3 bright fun colors
  • Great for cats of all ages
  • Fun for the whole family

The Bright Bopper retails for $19.99 for two sets of 3 and is available for purchase on www.BrightBopper.com.

Bugout

Another product we use for the outside kitties we rescued is this Bugout Pet Feeding System. We have the smaller system, but you can see it does come in a larger one as well.

With a novel design and environmentally-safe materials, the Bugout Pet Feeding System keeps ants and other unwanted pests away from your pet’s food. The all-in-one design makes the unit more compact than two separate dishes. You can take comfort that anywhere you use the Bugout your pet will have fresh food, fresh water, and no ants.  The idea came to John Newman of Simply Innovative Products when he kept finding ants crawling around the food dish for his beloved dog Frank. His design, completely free of pesticides, makes the system completely safe for animals and their owners while keeping unwanted ants out.

You can purchase the Bugout Pet Feeding System on Amazon.

Hartz Toys

Now these are some fun pet products Toby can really get into! Hartz recently asked, “What play pattern does your dog prefer?” Dogs like to play in different ways, and we as pet parents are attuned to their needs.

“There are four primary play patterns,” says Dr. Georgette Wilson, DVM, the Director of Scientific and Regulatory Affairs and resident veterinarian at Hartz Mountain Corp.  “Some dogs may have one favorite way of playing, others alternate among different types of play. The main play patterns are Toss & Retrieve, Tug, Comfort & Security, and Chew.”

Of all of the toys Toby received, his favorite has to be Quackers. He loves making it quack and carrying it around. He also loves it when we throw it to him! Toby also loves toys where you tug on one end and he tugs on the other, so his other favorite is the Tug of Fun Double Ring. When he plays with it alone, he gets one end looped around his nose and has fun shaking it off! He is amusing to watch!

What is your dog’s favorite toy and how does it fit into these play patterns? Check out these toys from Hartz, and buy the ones your dog would prefer.

Be sure to check out the Delectables Stew Lickable Treats from Hartz too! It is the perfect treat for your dog.

  • My dogs used to love their "Kong" toy for the treats we'd hide inside or for when we threw them. Cats, dogs or any animal for that matter would be fortunate to be a part of your family. So, what color is your KittyRoo?

  • That KittyRoo sweatshirt is hysterical. I think that is such a fun idea for parents who like to carry their small pets around with them.

  • These are some awesome items, I keep wondering if my guinea pigs would like the kittyroo - I may have to get one to try it.

  • I feel like I need to try out that sweatshirt with my cats. My older one would probably like it. My younger one would probably freak out and bite me.

  • I'm not a pet person, too many allergies. However, that cat sweater is awesome. I would totally get one if I had a cat.

    • My nephew is allergic to cats and I feel so sad for him! I am glad I'm not allergic!

  • I don’t have pets right now but we’re planning to get one. I should really have these products by then.
