If you have pets and you travel a lot, you know how hard it can be to either find someone to watch your pets or to board them. With hotel stays at Extended Stay America, you don’t need to leave your pets at home.
Hotel stays with your pets
I love traveling, but I always miss my animals! I can’t imagine being away from them for extended periods of time, but I know people do have to be on the road for weeks or even months sometimes. Hotel stays at Extended Stay America make it possible for you to be away from home without being away from your pets! In fact, they are a member of the Petfinder® Foundation!
Extended Stay America hotels have designated pet-friendly rooms for your entire family to stay together. This way, if you are traveling, you don’t have to leave your dog or cat behind! The hotel rooms allow up to 2 pets to stay with you when you travel. There is a fee for your pets, but this is a good thing! It ensures that your room will be clean and fumigated each time a family with pets checks out. When you check in, your room will be safe for your family and pets.
If you are staying for 8 nights or more, one free “full service” housekeeping is provided per week. When you’re staying for a shorter period of time, you can get fresh linens at the front desk. If you would like daily housekeeping, you can get it for $10 a day. You may want to consider it if your pet is a shedder, but it isn’t required.
Hotel room
The room that my daughter and I stayed in was very large! We had a queen suite room that had 2 queen sized bed, a kitchen, a sofa bed, recliner, desk and television. This was the view as we walked into the room. There is a fairly large hallway with a large closet and the kitchen was also off of the hallway. The sofa and recliner were really comfortable! This made us feel right at home. We were able to relax, surf the internet with the free WiFi, and watch television in a comfortable atmosphere.
Having a kitchen when you travel is the best. This kitchen has plenty of room to move around and plenty of storage for all of your groceries. Everything you need for cooking is kept at the front desk. This ensures all of your kitchen items will be clean and sanitized when you use them. I think this is a great thing! You don’t have to trust that someone who stayed before you washed them correctly.
The beds are very comfortable, so you will get a good night’s sleep during your hotel stays at Extended Stay America. The bedding was very comfortable as well. I am really picky about my sheets, and these were just perfect!
Amenities
Since we only stayed for two nights, we didn’t take advantage of all of the amenities offered during hotel stays at Extended Stay America. One that we did love was the grab and go breakfast. They offer instant oatmeal, muffins, granola bars, coffee, and tea. Both mornings we grabbed some food and headed back up to our comfy kitchen to eat. It’s a very satisfying meal and one less thing you have to buy if you will be staying long term. Free breakfast is definitely a must-have when I travel.
Another great amenity at Extended Stay America is having a laundry facility right in the hotel. If you are traveling for an extended trip, you are going to need to do laundry. It is great that you don’t have to go out and find a laundromat and lug your laundry around. You can do it all right there. When you’ve got pets with you, you’re bound to need to do lots of laundry if the shed like mine do!
Free WiFi and free parking are two amenities I really appreciate when I travel. Hotel stays can get costly if you have to add on fees. There is an option for enhanced WiFi. If your kids bring any gaming systems or a lot of you are using multiple devices in your room, you may want to pay for this enhanced WiFi.
These are just a few of the amenities provided during hotel stays at Extended Stay America. Different hotels also offer different services, so you’ll want to check your particular site to see which amenities you’ll receive.
Where will you stay?
Do you travel for extended periods of time? Are your pets good travelers, and do you take them on vacations with you? Check out Extended Stay America the next time you travel! I highly recommend them!
I also want to add that the front desk staff we dealt with were so nice! One time when I did a media stay at a hotel, only one staff member I dealt with was very sweet. The others were really snooty. It was so nice to deal with people who were kind and knew how to treat customers! Thank you, Extended Stay America Westlake, for the amazing stay!
