Victoria & Abdul
Coming September 2017, Victoria & Abdul is the extraordinary true story of an unexpected friendship in the later years of Queen Victoria’s remarkable rule.
When Abdul Karim, a young clerk, travels from India to participate in the Queen’s Golden Jubilee, he is surprised to find favor with the Queen herself. As the Queen questions the constrictions of her long-held position, the two forge an unlikely and devoted alliance with a loyalty to one another that her household and inner circle all attempt to destroy. As the friendship deepens, the Queen begins to see a changing world through new eyes and joyfully reclaims her humanity.
Victoria & Abdul is directed by Stephen Frears (“The Queen,” “Philomena,” “Mrs. Henderson Presents”) and written by Lee Hall (“Billy Elliot”), based on Victoria & Abdul: The True Story of the Queen’s Closest Confidant by Shrabani Basu.
The movie stars Judi Dench as Queen Victoria and Ali Fazal as Abdul.

I think this looks so good! I love learning about England’s history and the royals in general! I’m not sure why we Americans love the royals so much, but a lot of us do! I mean, just look at George and Charlotte. Are they not two of the most adorable kids ever?
