Animal Pain Awareness Month
September is Animal Pain Awareness Month, though, of course, we want to be aware of our pets’ pain every month. This month is set aside to make us more aware of how our pets display pain. Animals can’t tell you when they’re in pain or distress, so we have to look for signs. Sometimes the signs may be obvious such as limping or constant whining. Most of the time the signs are subtle. I’d like to introduce you to CBD oil for pets as a way to help them when they’re in pain.
Signs your animal may be in pain
- Decreased appetite
- Licking or biting an area repeatedly
- Refusing to go up steps
- Decreased activity
- Not grooming themselves
CBD oil for pets
CBD oil can help with your pets’ inflammation and pain. There are several other benefits to giving your pet CBD oil. PranaPets CBD oil is a safe, gentle and nutritive CBD supplement for pets of all ages. This comes from the hemp plant and though it may be in the cannabinoid family, it is not habit forming nor is it psychoactive.
How it can help your pets
- Healthy digestion and appetite
- Inflammation & pain throughout the body
- Nausea & other digestive problems
- Anxiety, nervousness & stress
- Seizure intensity & frequency
- Healthy skin & fur growth
Your pet can take CBD oil on a short term basis for pain, anxiety, nausea and digestion issues, or they can take it long term for chronic conditions, stress, and longevity.
I like that this oil can be used for either dogs or cats, so when you’ve got a multiple pet household, you don’t have to buy a lot of different products. Cats and dogs under 20 lbs just take less than larger dogs. The biggest issue my pets have had is stress, and I love how it is so easy to use for my animals. You can easily mix this in with their food, so they won’t feel like they are taking medicine. CBD oil for pets is really something you should look into if your pet has any of the above issues.
