Disclosure: Get Free Local Television with Mohu Leaf Glide is a sponsored post. I received Mohu Leaf Glide free for an honest review. All opinions are mine and may differ from yours.
With cable costs always on the rise, many of us are looking for ways to cut the cord and find cheaper options. I’ve got an option that may be a great way for you to cut the cord on cable and get free local television.
Mohu Leaf Glide Antenna
Mohu Leaf Glide is a first-of-its-kind HDTV antenna that delivers outdoor antenna performance with the simplicity of an indoor antenna. It has a 65-mile reception range, so you can enjoy even more channels. Leaf Glide’s SignaLift technology is fine-tuned to pick up tricky lower frequency channels that you should receive but can’t with a standard indoor antenna.
I wanted to try this antenna specifically because it is an indoor antenna. I would have no idea how to put one outside and hook it up to the television and all that stuff. Mohu Leaf Glide was easy to install though it did take a little while to find a good location for it. We finally decided on a big picture window that faces the same direction our satellite faced when we had that years ago. I’m bad with directions, obviously! You just find the direction you get the best reception from. We scanned our television channels several times until we got the most. The product specs do say that it doesn’t matter where it is positioned since it is multi-directional, but I think it made a difference for us.
We do only get one major network, ABC, but we get several local channels too. Depending on how much you watch television and how close you are to the major news stations, this may be a really good option for you. I like being able to get our local weather and news that we can’t get otherwise. There are times when the picture pixelates, or we get a weak signal message. It doesn’t bother me because it usually comes right back. It’s worth the savings I get! Plus I grew up in the 70s and 80s, and we all know what reception was like then!
Using Leaf Glide
Like I said it was very easy to hook Leaf Glide up to get started. In just a few simple steps, Leaf Glide will start broadcasting live TV. Here’s how to setup the antenna:
- Connect Leaf Glide to included Jolt® amplifier and plug amplifier into TV.
- Scan for channels.
- Enjoy free live TV.
Try different spots to find your best location. I think windows work the best because they face directly outside, but you’ll have to find your best location.
I definitely think Mohu Leaf Glide is an excellent option for free local television viewing. It’s got a 4 star rating on Amazon where you can purchase a Mohu Leaf Glide. Mohu has several antenna options, so I recommend that you check them out on Amazon to see which option would be best for you.

What a really neat product. I can see this being a huge product as so many want to cut the cord.

I never heard of it, but that’s cool. We next to never watch cable, but we pay for it. How goofy of us, I’ve been thinking about cancelling.

If you get a Fire Stick or Roku, there are free options on those too. Plus Hulu is like $8 a month, so it is worth it to cut cable for sure!
