Matthew West: The heart behind the album
Matthew wrote his new album with the goal of encouraging himself and others to get up off the sidelines of their faith and really live it out – to go all in: in your time with God, with your family, with your community, and battling your fears that may hold you back from becoming who God made you to be.
What does it look like when a heart that knows Jesus takes a step and holds nothing back? How can we go All In in the places that mean the most?

The story behind the song
I’ve been a Matthew West fan for a long time. He’s got such a heart for God and for the world. He’s real, and he is down to earth. One of my favorite songs by him is Do Something. This reminds me of the message behind Do Something. If we’re “all in” for God, we’ll “do something!” It’s not enough to say, “I’ll pray for you.” Is that what Jesus did? No. He was “all in” down in the trenches, eating with the sinners, calling out the pharisees.
It’s time for us to be “All In.”
