Passing Down Family Recipes #PixarCoco

Thanks for sharing!

Family Traditions

Family traditions are so important! One family tradition that you can be thinking about this Thanksgiving is passing down family recipes. Many of my favorite recipes come from both my grandmas. I love looking at their handwriting on the recipe cards and reminiscing about times they made those recipes.

Disney Pixar’s COCO is all about family. It’s about traditions and love, and I can’t wait to see it! I’ve got some blogging friends who are at the Pixar COCO Event right now! I can’t wait to hear their thoughts about the movie. I have a feeling it will be a new favorite in my family.

Passing down family recipes

Disney Pixar COCO is sharing some printable recipe cards with you and two recipes you can make with your families. Copy the recipes on the cards, and then talk about other recipes that have been passed down in your family. Even though we get most of our recipes on Pinterest now…you know it’s true…there is nothing like making a recipe that’s been in the family for years. Food brings families together. In Disney Pixar COCO, Miguel’s grandmother loves to feed him…she probably loves feeding everyone from the pictures and trailers I’ve seen!!

Hot Chocolate and Pan de Muerto

The two recipes Disney Pixar COCO are sharing with you are Pan de Muerto and Hot Chocolate! You can get a printable version of these recipes and the recipe cards below by clicking on the links.

Final Trailer for Pixar COCO

Despite his family’s baffling generations-old ban on music, Miguel dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol, Ernesto de la Cruz. Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colorful Land of the Dead following a mysterious chain of events. Along the way, he meets charming trickster Hector, and together, they set off on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel’s family history.
