If you’ve been following this blog for a while you know the two things we love most here are animals and all things Disney. I’m super excited about today’s post because it combines those two things! (I mean seriously, what’s better than Disney and animals?)
Lady and the Tramp
Disney’s “Lady and the Tramp” is joining the Walt Disney Signature Collection this February. “Lady and the Tramp” has been one of my family’s favorite Disney movies for years. You can’t beat a classic love story (lady meets bad boy). And what about the classic songs and scenes (yes, I’m thinking about the spaghetti scene and singing “Bella Notte”)? And of course it’s such a fun movie because, hello, dogs! “Lady and the Tramp” is definitely one of the best Disney movies.
Petcube
Of course, one of the reasons “Lady and the Tramp” is one of our favorite Disney movies is because we are animal lovers. In case you missed it, we have a dog, four inside cats, two outside cats (who adopted us when our neighbor abandoned them), and a snake. All of these animals can make travel (another thing we love) difficult. It’s hard to be separated from the ones we love. However, Petcube definitely makes traveling easier.
Petcube is an interactive Wi-Fi pet camera that allows pet owners to “take their pet anywhere.” You might be miles away from your home and beloved pet, but with Petcube you can check in on your pet and even play with them! Petcube allows pet owners to view their pet with their smartphone. It also has a microphone and speaker, so you can talk to your pet, too. You also have the option of playing with your pet with the laser-pointer. No matter how far from home you are, Petcube lets you stay connected to your four-legged friends.
Petcube is available from Bed, Bath & Beyond!
Movies Anywhere
Speaking of travel, you can watch “Lady and the Tramp” (and over 7,300 other movies) away from home with Movies Anywhere. Movies Anywhere allows movie lovers to use their devices (smartphones, computers, Amazon Fire devices) to access their digital movies purchased or redeemed through participating digital retailers (Amazon Video, Google Play, iTunes and Vudu). In other words, you can watch “Lady and the Tramp” wherever you are as long as you got the digital download from one of the participating digital retailers. So you can watch your movies and play with your pets wherever you are! Not only can you play with your pets while away from home, you can also enjoy a good movie, too! Check out Movies Anywhere on their website.
Disney’s Lady and the Tramp Joins the Walt Disney Signature Collection
You can download “Lady and the Tramp” on Digital and on Movies Anywhere on February 20, or you can purchase it on Blu-ray on February 27! “Lady and the Tramp” is the sixth movie to join the Walt Disney Signature Collection (behind “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Pinocchio,” “Bambi” and “The Lion King”). So what’s so special about this edition? Besides owning one of the best Disney movies, you’ll also get access to:
- Three versions of the film (classic, sing along, and “Inside Walt’s Story Meetings,” which allows you to hear reenactments of Walt’s story sessions with animators while watching the film)
- New signature bonus (Walt & His Dogs, Stories from Walt’s Office, and How to Make a Meatball and Other Fun Facts About “Lady and The Tramp”)
- Classic bonus features (Diane Disney Miller: Remembering Dad and Never-Recorded Song – “I’m Free as the Breeze”)
- Deleted scenes

The Digital copy of “Lady and the Tramp” also comes with the following:
- Additional classic bonus features
- Additional deleted scenes
- Trailers
We are so looking forward to owning this edition of “Lady and the Tramp” and gaining access to all of the cool bonus features! I think I’m most looking forward to hearing the reenactments of Walt’s meeting with the animators and seeing/hearing how everything came together. I’m pretty sure Mom is most looking forward to the sing along version!
