I checked out the SXSW18 reactions to A QUIET PLACE on Twitter this morning and the consensus is clear…It’s a hit. Reviewers are saying it is “intense, engrossing, full of heart, and will keep you on the edge of your seat.” The audience’s reaction was “enthusiastically loud.” John Krasinski’s new film is on my list!

In the modern horror thriller A QUIET PLACE, a family of four must navigate their lives in silence after mysterious creatures that hunt by sound threaten their survival. If they hear you, they hunt you.
Sometimes, I am just in the mood for a great suspenseful horror film. A QUIET PLACE looks like it is going to fit the bill! When I watch a horror movie, I don’t want to be grossed out. I want to be gasping at the unexpected and guessing about what will happen next.

I’m not a horror lover, but I do love a good thriller. And this movie looks like one I would enjoy. On a side note, I bet the cast didn’t have to memorize very many lines!!!
