A DOG’S WAY HOME is coming to theatres January 11, 2019, and I can’t wait! My daughter and I were at a movie recently and saw preview of this film. I looked over at my daughter and we both said, “I don’t know if I can handle this movie!”
This heartwarming movie is going to make us cry happy tears! A DOG’S WAY HOME is based on the book by W. Bruce Cameron. If you’ve ever owned a dog (or you own one now) you know what a bond you and your dog have. I know I would be a wreck if my dog was ever missing. But THIS! All the tears.

Every Dog Has a Story
What is your dog’s story? We got our current dog, Duke, shortly after we lost our first dog, Toby. Our home was so empty without a dog, so we started looking. As soon as we saw Duke, we knew. And Duke knew! Duke wouldn’t stop crying unless we were petting him through the bars of his cage. He was a puppy who had just arrived, so we needed to wait until he had been fixed and had his shots. Since the dog warden is first come first serve, we made sure we were first in line! We’ve had Duke for a year and a half now, and he’s such a sweetheart.

I am absolutely so excited to go watch this movie. It looks like an absolute ugly cry/tearjerker and I think it’s wonderful that the producers use shelter dogs instead of dog actors in the movie I think that makes it that much more special.
