Believe it or not, it’s already almost time for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Week 2019! I feel like it was just yesterday that the hot air balloons filled the sky and my neighbor gave us the concert tickets she had won on the radio. Below, you’ll find the lineup for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Week 2019, including descriptions of the events in case you are unfamiliar with the festival.

Balloon Classic and Fireworks

The Balloon Classic is one of the Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement festival’s most popular events and attracts an audience from all over the US. Hot air balloons take to the skies of Canton, and people set up lawn chairs and blankets all across the city to watch. Guests can stop by Kent State University at Stark/Stark State College campuses for festival fun. Find out more about the balloon classic and the festival schedule by clicking here. Please note: the balloon classic is subject to weather. The fireworks show is Saturday night at 10:00pm, also subject to weather.
Up, Up & Away 5K
The Up, Ip & Away 5K is a 5K event that will take place Saturday, July 27, 8:00 am at the Kent State University at Stark Campus. Participants travel the university campus (running or walking) and the top three male and female runners earn prizes (but every participant receives a commemorative shirt and finisher medal). Schumacher Homes will sponsor a kids Fun Run, which is a non-competitive event for kids 8 and under. Fun inflatables will also be nearby. Click here to learn more about the Up, Up & Away 5K.
Hall of Fame Fun Fest
“HOF Fun Fest was FREE and OPEN to the public all weekend long! Fans enjoyed DJs, live bands, Gold Jacket Chalk Talks, special guest appearances, inflatables, games and contests every day.” The Fun Fest is open noon until 7pm. Click here for more information.
Play Football First Play & Skills Camp
At 10:00am on Wednesday July 31st, 3,000 children form a human chain and pass a football down a 3-mile route. The chain starts in Downtown Canton where the National Football League was founded and ends at the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The skills camp begins at 6:00pm at the Youth Sports Center.
Pro Football Hall of Fame Game 2019

If you don’t know what the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game is… Molly will not judge you. She was reading the list of events and completely blanked, wondering, “What kind of game? Like, a game show game? Corn hole?”
The 2019 Pro Football Hall of Fame Game will be played between the Denver Broncos and the Atlanta Falcons at the Tom Benson Stadium. Game starts at 8:00pm. Click here for more information and to find the link to purchase tickets.
The Canton Repository Grand Parade

Welcome the Class of 2019 Enshrinees and and many returning Gold Jackets at this fun event! The parade will include “special units, giant helium balloons, fabulous floats, and marching bands.” The parade begins at 8:00am in Downtown Canton. Click here for more information about the parade.
Hall of Fame Enshrinement Ceremony
The Class of 2019 will officially be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame at 7:00pm on Saturday, August 3rd at the Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton. You can watch it on television, or if you would like, you can purchase tickets to witness the event in person.
Concert for Legends

This year’s Concert for Legends features Imagine Dragons! We got to see Maroon5 play the Concert for Legends last year, and it was definitely a night to remember! I would love to see Imagine Dragons, but we shall see.
