Hall-O-Ween is a very cute picture book to read with your kids at this time of the year! As with most picture books, it is the illustrations that tell the story and make the story fun. Hall-O-Ween‘s bold and bright illustrations jump off of the pages. Kids can relate to how excited the little boy is in this book.
Making crafts, carving pumpkins, and decorating for Halloween are so much fun for both kids and adults (when we have the time!).
I loved taking my kids trick-or-treating when they were little. You can never get those times back, so enjoy it while you can, moms and dads! And, if you are passing out candy, remember this:
AND, my kids were always tall for their ages! My daughter was 5’9″ when she was 12!! Give her the dang candy. If she’s trick-or-treating at 24 (okay, she’s not, but there are special needs adults who may be out there!), give her the candy! Life is too short to complain about teenagers dressing up for candy. Rant over.
Have fun reading Hall-O-Ween and other fun seasonal books, and enjoy your time with your little ones! Carve the pumpkins. Go to the corn maze. Head to a pumpkin patch. And go trick-or-treating!

Tia Perkin is a three-time Emmy-Nominated Graphic Artist turned stay-at-home mom and freelancer. Her first children’s book, Two!, was written for her now seven-year-old twin sons – partially as a gift and partially as a coping mechanism for a double-helping of toddler hijinx! She is continuing on the series and has most recently released Hall-O-Ween!.

This book looks like it will be a new favorite in our house!! My favorite thing we do every year is watching The Nightmare Before Christmas movie together & when we go trick or treating!! & Yes, I steal my kids candies… 😂😂

I’ve always love Halloween, and now that I have young nieces and nephews I love it even more! They’re already excited about Halloween and would certainly enjoy this book.
