Can a fake date

Become the real deal?

Triplet Georgie Harrison will do anything to keep her family—including her newfound Blackwell relatives—from worrying about her. Which is exactly why she’s enlisted way-too-charming rodeo cowboy Zach Evans to be her fake boyfriend for her sister’s Montana ranch wedding. The problem is that Georgie’s not just tempted to fall for her own ruse…she’s also falling hard for the roguish cowboy she can never have.

My review of Montana Wedding

Cari Lynn Webb has written another exceptional, page-turning book for clean romance lovers everywhere. I’ve read several of her books and have many more of hers in my TBR pile! Like most of the Harlequin Heartwarming series, Montana Wedding can be read as a stand-alone book, so don’t let the fact that this is book 5 of a series deter you! No, you might not know how the other Blackwell sisters (or the Blackwell brothers for that matter!) met their significant others, but you don’t need to in order to enjoy this sweet, special story.

This feel-good romance is one of my favorite types of stories: a fake relationship formed to fool the family turns real. The “couple’s” family and friends usually see that the feelings shared by the couple are genuine way before the actual couple does! Such is the case with Georgie and Zach.

Since Georgie is hyper-focused on her goals, she’s never considered her dreams. In fact to her, those goals are synonymous with her dreams. Georgie has never let herself consider anything other than “fixing” people. She thinks working in a lab is serving the greater good…helping the most people. Georgie’s never considered being a hands-on physician since that’s helping one person at a time. I won’t give you spoilers, but I think that anyone with Georgie’s personality type can empathize with her and see her rationale more than a “touchy-feely” emotionally driven person might.

Zach’s also hyper-focused on a goal that’s led him to Montana, but he also believes in having dreams. However, he’s pushed his dreams aside in trying to achieve his temporary goal…get Ethan Blackwell to treat Zach’s late brother’s horse.

I love how Webb gives her characters such unique personalities and “issues” to deal with. Though I’ve never been in Georgie’s shoes or Zach’s saddle, I could feel their hurts coming through the pages of the book. And, yes, I cried. If you get immersed in books like I do, you’ll probably cry too! Those side characters that you might be unfamiliar with will get into your hearts. They’ll make you laugh and cry. Past hurts begin to mend, and that’ll make you cry too! In other words, be sure you’ve got the tissues handy.

I highly recommend this sweet, emotional book.
