Pug and Pig and their friends Robin and Squirrel love digging in the garden and zooming around the backyard together. But there’s another “friend” in the backyard who isn’t quite so friendly. That’s Cat. What does Cat love doing? Cat loves sneaking up on Pug and scaring him! Pug does not think this is funny. And he does not like it at all. But when thunderstorm comes and Cat gets scared up a tree, Pig, Robin, and Squirrel can’t get him to climb down. Only Pug can help. But will he?
Pug & Pig and Friends Children’s Book Review
Pug and Pig are friends with Robin and Squirrel. They love doing the same things together, but their other friend, Cat, doesn’t like doing those things. Is she still their friend?
Well, she does like interacting with Pug at least, but Pug doesn’t like how Cat likes to play! She likes scaring him! Can they be friends?
You and your children will love reading Pug & Pig and Friends while enjoying the adorable illustrations. They’ll learn that being friends doesn’t always mean liking the same things, but it does mean NOT doing things your friends don’t like! Learning to get along is an important skill that kids need to learn and practice.
