My review of The Texas SEAL’S Surprise
If you’re looking for your next clean romance to read, read The Texas SEAL’S Surprise! Reading Cari Lynn Webb’s books is always an enjoyable experience. You can be sure that her books in the Harlequin Heartwarming line are safe to share with your mom! (My mom does love Webb’s books!) They’re clean romances, and they allow you to escape the realities of a harsh world.
In The Texas SEAL’S Surprise, Abby James is dealing with some harsh realities in her own life. However, she’s hoping that moving to Three Springs, Texas to help her cousin reopen their grandparents’ store will bring some joy to her world. Wes Tanner’s been in Three Springs for a few years, and though he’s found friendship there, he hasn’t found contentment. Will Abby and Wes find joy and contentment together? Read the book!
There are so many characters to love in The Texas SEAL’s Surprise. I found myself wishing that I could move to Three Springs and “adopt” a couple of characters as grandparents. Yes, I still think I’m young enough to have grandparents who are probably my parents’ age! They’ve just got that welcoming way about them that makes you want them as family. Since the town is so small, many of the friendships do feel like family. This “feeling” was one of my favorite things about the book. In “real life,” we don’t often have those types of connections because our worlds are so big! Escape to Three Springs with me! If we get in with this crowd, we will always have amazing food too!
You’ve got to read this book! I’m sure you’ll love it as much as I do! I can’t wait for Trusting the Rancher with Christmas (Book 2), coming in October.
