Her Christmastime Family Book Review
Reading Christmas books during the holiday season helps get me in the mood for the holidays. Her Christmastime Family makes me want to live in Golden and be a part of the Golden Matchmakers! If only! I know plenty of young, single people to match, but I don’t live in a cozy town like Golden. In Stealing Her Best Friend’s Heart, book one in the Golden Matchmakers Club series, a very wealthy grandmother (Mrs. M) and her housekeeper (who’s like her best friend!) along with a few others, decide that they need to give a little push to a family member towards the love of their life (of course the matchmakers KNOW who that love is!).
In this book, they’ve got a single dad and a single mom to work on. Mrs. M, manipulates circumstances so Faith and her two children can move into one of her rental homes. It “just happens” to be next door to single dad, Roan, and his two daughters. And from there, the matchmakers make sure the two are steered toward each other…a lot.
Her Christmastime Family is the perfect romance for this time of the year. The characters are very well-developed. The main characters have huge struggles they’re dealing with, and, like all of us, they don’t always handle those struggles in the right way. Yet, they have strengths that get them through the hard stuff. I love those meddling matchmakers! It’s so fun watching them manipulate things, sometimes in crazy ways, to get the two together. As is always the case in Harlequin’s Heartwarming line, this book is squeaky clean, and I appreciate that. Of course, I love the setting of this cozy town, and the pacing of the story is just right.
I recommend Her Christmastime Family to all of you clean romance lovers. It’ll leave you feeling happy and excited for Christmas!

I do think the cover of this book is lovely! I really like Sunflowers and it reminds me of my dad when he used to grow them.
I love making ornaments and other Christmas decor with the grandkids. It’s so much fun.
