Coconut Cookies Recipe
Ingredients
1 cup plain flour
1 cup shredded coconut
1 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp salt
½ cup softened butter
½ cup white sugar
1 large egg
Instructions
1 Heat oven to 205°C / 400°F.
2 Except for sugar, place the dry ingredients in a large bowl.
3 Cream butter and sugar in a smaller bowl.
4 Add the egg, beat until just blended.
5 Add the mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
6 Roll a heaped teaspoon of dough into a ball and place on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
7 Bake in center of oven for 10–15 minutes until golden brown.
