Quickly she learns the business is not doing well and could close in a few months. She jumps in with both feet and focuses on an upcoming wedding for a local wealthy socialite which could be their saving grace.

Everything seems to be falling into place until the night of the rehearsal dinner, when someone ends up dead and Leah’s best friend is the number one suspect. With the help of her friends, a handsome local detective, and a sexy private investigator, will Leah be able to catch the killer and clear her best friend’s name before they strike again or will there be an unhappily ever after?

Character Guest Post

Christmas is quickly approaching, and this time of year can be stressful for many, especially if you are entertaining family or guests. At The Wedded Bliss, we love planning and holding a variety of celebrations and events. We also understand that everyone has a different budget to work with, so we want to help our clients have an amazing experience while also considering what they can afford.

Here are some budget-friendly, quick, and easy appetizers and desserts for any holiday party that will make your guests feel full and happy.

Aunt Sissy’s cheeseball

-1 softened block of cream cheese

-1 can or package of dried beef chopped up

-1/2 cup of chopped green onions (if you love onions, you can always add more)

-Ritz crackers

Mix the softened cream cheese, the chopped dried beef, and green onions. Mix until well combined. Form it into a ball and wrap it with clear wrap. Place in the fridge until you are ready to serve.

Chelsea’s BBQ weenies

-1-2 small or 1 large package of mini smoked weenies

-1 bottle Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce, or BBQ sauce of your choosing

-1 crockpot

Turn your crockpot on low.  Dump in the weenies, and cover with the BBQ sauce. Cook on low, stirring occasionally, for 2-3 hours. Scoop onto your plate, into a bowl and enjoy!

Leah’s Veggie and Dip Cups

-Plastic cups 8oz

-Celery cut into slices

-Sugar snap peas

-Red and green peppers cut into slices

-Cherry tomatoes

-1 bottle of Ranch dressing

-Cheese cubes (optional)

Pour in each cup, a little ranch dressing. Then fill the cups with some of the veggies. Your guests can snack and walk around, and it’s all contained in their cups.

Meg’s Cake Mix Cookie Bars

-1 box yellow or white cake mix

-2 eggs beaten

-5 Tbsp melted butter

-2 cups Christmas M&M’s or mini chocolate chips

Mix all ingredients and spread them out in a 9 x 13 greased baking dish. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Cut into bars, place on a special plate or platter, and enjoy!

Sally’s Holiday Haystacks

-1 pkg Chow Mein noodles

-4-5 bricks of Almond bark

-Christmas colored sprinkles

-Muffin cup papers

Pour noodles into a mixing bowl. Melt Almond bark in a saucepan. Be careful not to cook too high to avoid burning. Once it’s melted, pour it gently over the noodles. Carefully toss the bowl allowing all the noodles to get coated. Using an ice cream scoop, place a scoop into muffin wrappers. Once all your muffin cup papers are filled, top each cup with sprinkles.
