Easy No Soak Instant Pot Baked Beans

Baked beans are a must at any family gathering or picnic! Make them from scratch the easy way using your pressure cooker Instant Pot!

  • 1 pound of pinto beans
  • 6 cups water
  • 1 onion diced
  • 1 ½ tbsp of worcestershire
  • 1 ½ tbsp of vinegar I used white wine vinegar
  • ½ tsp of garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup of brown sugar
  • ¾ cup molasses
  • ¾ cup ketchup
  • 6 -8 slices of bacon


  1. Wash beans and remove any small rocks
  2. Place beans and water into pot and set timer for 60 min.
  3. Allow to depressurize naturally
  4. Remove beans and drain. Saving ½ cup of the liquid
  5. Replacing the pot set to saute
  6. Saute bacon and diced onion
  7. Remove bacon and cut into pieces and set aside
  8. Replace the ½ cup liquid and deglaze the pan add the beans back to the pan
  9. Followed by the remaining ingredients in no particular order.
  10. Place cut up bacon back into pot and stir till combined
  11. Close lid and set timer for 30 min manual high pressure.
  12. Natural depressurize
