Enter his new roommate Jordan–a quirky LA girl who believes that everything in life has already been done in the movies. In this heartfelt tale of love, friendship and family, Nate learns how to deal with his new adult life using Hollywood films as a guide.
My Review
I read all of the time, so it is hard to have a favorite book. But seriously, If We Were a Movie is one of my new favorites. I finished it in about a day and a half. I adore the characters and the story line is wonderful. Sometimes the books you love the most are the hardest to review! I wish I could explain all of the things that make this book special.
As with the first two Power of the Matchmaker books, Pearl plays a role in getting Nate and Jordan together when Nate wants to move away from his overbearing brothers. When Nate bumps into Pearl due to his frustrating mood, he ends up sharing his frustrations for her. Of course, she’s got the perfect solution. Her friend, Jordan, is looking for a roommate. Nate emails Jordan and sets the meeting up, excited to meet him….who turns out to be a her.
This story is just adorable. The way that Jordan and Nate become fast friends due to their similar interests is fun to “watch.” The supporting characters in this book are just as developed as the main characters. This book moves quickly though the pace isn’t too fast. It is just right. I love the fact that this is set in NYC. And Jordan’s apartment….I could use one of those!
You’ll love If We Were a Movie!

I agree with you, Christy, this was a really great read. I read an ARC and I couldn’t put it down. I read almost all of it in one day as well. Great book!
