When you’ve got a family, it is so important to find the right car. You want it to be safe, stylish and comfortable for everyone in the family. One of the things I keep in mind when buying a new car is, “Will everyone be comfortable and safe during road trips?” When we bought our last vehicle, my son was 14 and already 6’2″. I knew finding a roomy car for him was a must since we like to take long road trips. My daughter likes to have her own space, so a minivan was the perfect choice for our family road trip car. They each had their own row to keep their road trip essentials with them.
My sister has 8 kids, so her perfect car has to fit 10 people for road trips! They took a long road trip from Ohio to Florida a couple of years ago, so they really had to make sure they had the right vehicle for them. When my parents bought their last car, they wanted something smaller and fuel efficient. Their road trips tend to be closer to home, but they still wanted something safe and comfortable.

I know finding the perfect car can be very stressful because you’re always second guessing yourself when you’re searching. I think it is that fear of missing out that gets to us. We tend to think that there is a better choice a lot of the time. I recommend you make a list of all of the features you want from a car. Like I said, I want the perfect family road trip car, so my list would be totally different than someone who wants a sports car.
