Stick in the Mud Meets Spontaneity (Meet Your Match #3)

by Rachael Anderson

Home from college for the summer, Samantha Kinsey steps into her role as nanny for her two favorite little charges. But when she finds herself playing chauffeur more than playmate, her summer outlook quickly turns from fun to bleak. That is, until she drives the girls to a family-owned ranch and meets Colton McCoy—a genuine, hard-working cowboy, who’s as set in his ways as he is handsome. Although he claims he doesn’t need any fun in his life, Sam’s determined to help him find it. But she’ll soon discover that cowboys are about as easy to train as wild mustangs.

Stick in the Mud Meets Spontaneity is about an adaptable girl and a not so adaptable guy. It’s about learning to accept people for who they are and realizing that sometimes who they are is exactly who they should be.

My Review

I love Rachael Anderson’s books! All that I have read so far have been completely adorable. This is the third book in the Meet Your Match series, and it has characters from the first two in this series: Prejudice Meets Pride and Rough Around the Edges Meets Refined.

This one focuses on Sam who has come home after graduating from college. She’s got the whole summer to spend with her nieces before moving on to her new career in the fall. Of course, she is disappointed when her nieces have their own plans already! Rather than be too upset over it, she makes a bucket list of crazy things to do over the summer. But on her first day of driving her niece to her “job” at a ranch, Sam’s bucket list falls into the hands of Colton. What ensues is….well, you’ll have to find out for yourself!

I really loved this book! I love that romance and clean can be said in the same sentence when it comes to describing this story! I love the interactions between Sam and Colton and their families. This is definitely one to add to your lists! You may want to read the other two first, so you can get a feel for the other characters. But it can be read as a stand alone too. I highly recommend this!

Author Rachael Anderson

USA Today bestselling author, Rachael Anderson is the mother of four and is pretty good at breaking up fights, or at least sending guilty parties to their rooms. She can’t sing, doesn’t dance, and despises tragedies. But she recently figured out how yeast works and can now make homemade bread, which she is really good at eating.

It would be nice to be able to read a book that is light romance. It has been a very busy few months and thank you for your review. It sparked my interest to get back to reading.
