Christmas in July at Kings Island
Who here loves Christmas as much as I do? I am Christmas crazy and would leave my tree up all year if it were feasible! I love the lights, the music, all of the fun decorations, the cookies, the getting together with family. You get the picture. I was so excited to get to go to Kings Island for their Christmas in July Celebration!

For the final week in July, Kings Island had their main entrance and International Street decked out in Christmas decorations, and Christmas tunes played over the speakers in this part of the park as well. Santa was on duty taking Christmas lists, and Christmas movies were playing during the event as well. It was so much fun to walk in and hear Christmas music playing. I would have been happy if it had been playing all over the park though I’m sure not everyone would have appreciated it. Christmas in July is just one of the many great events that Kings Island has at their theme park each year.
Kings Island: Fun for All
Our trip to Kings Island for Christmas in July was a really fun family getaway. Kings Island has something for everyone making it the perfect place for both young and old. With Planet Snoopy for the youngest members of your family, to thrilling roller coasters for the daring among you, everyone will find something fun to do at Kings Island.
On hot days, you will definitely want to spend at least part of your day in Soak City Waterpark. My favorites in the waterpark are Breakers Bay and Splash River. We spent a lot of our time in those, and the water felt so good! You can read more about Soak City in my post about our prior trip.
Live Entertainment
This trip we also visited the Festhaus to watch live entertainment! It felt so good to be out of the heat. The live shows are a great way to spend your time if you aren’t a thrill seeker and other members in your party are. We watched the show Hollywood Nights. The performers are very talented, and they sang and danced to memorable songs from stage and screen.
No matter what your age or interest, you will definitely find something to love about Kings Island! Be sure to check their event page frequently as they add to them throughout the year. The current promotion at Kings Island is called Kings Island Kicks Cancer. A portion of the ticket prices will be donated to the cause, and tickets are the lowest price of the season! Go have fun and support a great cause!
