Fiery Fiesta Buffalo Chicken Wraps

Thanks for sharing!

Memorial Day will be here before we know it! Memorial Day always seems to be the official kick-off to summer. Summer means picnics, parties, reunions and BBQs. Moore’s Marinades and Sauces make the perfect addition to all of your events. One recipe you’ll want to try is this recipe for Fiery Fiesta Buffalo Chicken Wraps using Moore’s Marinade.

Moore’s Original Buffalo Wing Sauce

Thanks to Moore’s for providing this sauce for me to try.

Fiery Fiesta Chicken Wraps

I am always up for trying out new products, especially when those products are food related! Moore’s Marinades and Sauces was a brand new product to me, so I wasn’t sure what I was going to make with it. Then Molly, my daughter, said that her friend Jayne had made some chicken wraps that had buffalo sauce in them. Molly said how good they were, so she shared the recipe with Molly. We changed it up a bit and used Moore’s Original Buffalo Wing Sauce in the recipe.

Molly filled them, so don’t blame me for the uneven filling amount in the chicken wraps! And I’m not sure how I didn’t see that little bit of tortilla hanging there but… Hey, who cares how they look as long as they taste good, and they did! The next time, we’ll have to measure the amount of filling we put in each one. She only put green onions in a few because she doesn’t like them, but Kyle and I do!

The first thing we did was forget to take the cream cheese out to let it soften for long enough…no wait. That was the second thing. The first thing I did was boil some chicken and then shred it, so it would be ready for the wraps. The SECOND thing we did was forget to let the cream cheese soften enough. But Molly kind of squished it up, and it got softened.

This is 8 oz. of “softened” cream cheese, a cup of shredded cheddar and an 1/8 cup of sour cream. Mix that all together and then set it aside.

Mix up 2 cups of cooked and shredded chicken with a half cup of Moore’s Original Buffalo Wing Sauce. This is what makes these buffalo chicken wraps so fiery!

Stir the chicken/sauce into the cream cheese mixture.

Here is where you can add more or less filling depending on your preferences. Most of ours got the right amount. If you like green onions, here is where you’d sprinkle some on top. Then just roll them up and cut them in half. You can chill them ahead of time if you want to, but we didn’t have time for that. They tasted just fine!

This makes a great appetizer or a main dish! I know in summer you don’t usually want hot foods, so this is perfect. We had ours with some pasta salad and that was dinner. Yum!

About Moore’s Marinades and Sauces

From Moore’s: “It all began over thirty years ago in the small Alabama town of Jasper with a family-owned steakhouse and homegrown good flavor.  There, Moore’s Original Marinade was created and soon became a staple in the town for its delightful, hickory taste.  From the start, our flavor defined not only food, but family. This recipe was the Moore’s family’s shining achievement and was so sought after, that they eventually began to sell it in Styrofoam cups to the steakhouse regulars.

Since then, we’ve upgraded from Styrofoam cups and expanded our taste buds, bringing you and yours mouthwatering favorites like our award winning Moore’s Buffalo Wing Sauce. Check out our products page to see our ever-expanding line of marinades and sauces. We’re always working to capture the magic of the first spark of flavor that started it all three decades ago.
