Got Milk?
I’m sure none of us will forget that campaign. But what if you can’t digest dairy very well? Though you might not have a milk “allergy” you might be lactose intolerant.
My dad is lactose intolerant. My daughter’s best friend is lactose intolerant. A lot of people are! If you or a family member are lactose intolerant, or if you’re just trying to cut dairy out of your diet, you’ve got to try Banana Wave BananaMilk.
It is a great alternative to the soy milk, almond milk and coconut milk that you might be getting tired of drinking. It is also a great, nutritious option for anyone with an on-the-go lifestyle, active kids, athletes, and of course, banana lovers.
Banana Wave
Banana Wave BananaMilk contains three of nature’s superfoods – fruit, grains and seeds – and because it begins with pure banana puree one serving contains as much potassium as a small banana as well as 29 vitamins and minerals and 1200 mg of Omega-3s. It contains plant-based protein, is a good source of fiber, and is all natural, dairy-free, gluten-free and certified Non-GMO by Greenleaf Non-GMO. This is a super easy way to get a boost of nutrition into your day.
Banana Wave was created using a recipe passed down by the founder’s grandmother. It is an ancient African recipe that has been used for over 5000 years! The great kingdoms of Kush and Nubia used BananaMilk as a natural energy booster to perform many tasks during hot, bright and sunny days. So cool! If it has been around that long, it has to be good, right?
I love that Banana Wave BananaMilk can be a beverage and an ingredient! Any time a recipe calls for milk, just substitute it with this. That way you’re getting some superfoods in your recipe too!
Pancakes
You all know how much I love pancakes. They are such a comforting food and can be eaten for any meal or snack. You might not think of pancakes as a snack food, but I think they are perfect for little hands (and big ones). My kids would never sit still for a meal once they were out of the high chair stage. That stage did not last long! My mom tells me I was the same way. I’d just go up to whomever was eating and open my mouth for a bite. I guess that’s not so socially acceptable as an adult, or I’d still be doing it.
These pancakes are so easy because I used Bob’s Red Mill Pancake and Waffle Mix to make them. I substituted the milk with Banana Wave BananaMilk. You can double the recipe (I did) and freeze these for when you or your little one wants a snack. They are great plain or with syrup. You could also put some peanut butter on them, but I would highly advise against it if your child is going to be walking around with it. Peanut butter everywhere. You feel my pain right? If it’s going to be you eating it, you could use a couple of them for a sandwich with peanut butter and banana slices. The possibilities are endless!
If you’ve got your own recipe, you can just substitute Banana Wave BananaMilk for the regular milk. If you want an easy peasy recipe, just buy a bag of Bob’s and follow the recipe on the back.
Speaking of recipes, be sure to check out the ones on Banana Wave’s website which include several smoothies and even hot chocolate!

Let me know how they like them!
I have never heard of Banana Milk before. How interesting!
I think it would add a delicious little kick to any baking recipe like those waffles. I'm not sure how it would taste on it's own though.
I'm kind of curious though...ooooH! Add them to my morning shakes!!!!
That would be really good!
I always use almond milk and you're right, it gets boring at times. I can't wait to try banana milk! I've never heard of it and I love bananas and pancakes, so I'll be making some banana milk pancakes soon. Yum!
I think it is great just because of all that added nutrition too!
I would use this for my daughter and recipes for her! She has a dairy allergy so we are always looking for new products like this!
This is a great, healthy alternative!

I have never heard of Banana Milk but now that I have I'm wondering if I could make rice pudding with it or milk shakes anything that would be great with a banana flavor.

Those would be great!
