Cool Pool Toys for Entertainment and Education
I’ve got some friends who are foster parents. They’ve been fostering different children for several years, and I wanted to share these pool toys with them. They’ve also got teenagers and tweens. Guess who loved the musical duck race the most? Yep, the teens! They love the water squirting at them! The only suggestion they had was that the music should be a bit louder. I told them…ummm, it’s for baby ears! Teens love loud music.
When the littles finally got to play with the toys they adored them as well. They kept laughing and laughing at the ducks. All in all these pool/bath toys are a huge hit. My daughter is saving Minnie and Mickey for one of her church friends who is having a baby soon. They’ll be perfect.
Musical Duck Race
Quack, quack! Little ones have tons of pool fun with the candy-striped Yookidoo® Musical Duck Race that comes with four cute duckies that ring around the fountain. Press the leaf-leaver to activate one of nine random sound and water effects and place a duck on top of the water fountain for even more water effects. This musical tub toy develops hand-eye coordination, cause and effect, and teaches colors and counting.
This toy is adorable! I love that it can go in the pool or the tub. Your little ones will be learning without even knowing it. They’ll just know that they are having fun! The music makes it engaging, and little ones are learning, “If I do this, then that will happen.” Very Pavlovian. Impressed? Yeah, I graduated with a BA in Psychology and still remember stuff!
GeoSafari Jr. SubScope
Curious kids can discover wonderful underwater worlds—without getting their heads wet— with the GeoSafari® Jr. SubScope™ from Educational Insights. This is a seriously cool toy! No more having to use a goggle mask pressed up against your face which is what I used to do to try to keep my head out of the water while still looking at all of the cool stuff under the water. This is a must for beach trips! Your kids will love looking at the little fish swimming just under the surface.

You may already know this, but I am a Disney fanatic. If I could work at Disney World, I would! I’d love to be the person who gives out bandages and lollipops in the first aid room. Anything that keeps me in the A/C all day and yet lets me be in the most magical place on earth is good by me. These SoapSox are so cute because kids love taking stuffed animals everywhere! I remember my kids wanting their stuffed animals in the tub with them. Nope. Didn’t happen. With these SoapSox, you don’t have to worry since they’ll get dry quickly.
