I’ve been sharing some great back to school lunch and snack ideas. I started putting everything in one post, but quickly changed my mind when I was getting past 2,000 words. I’m sure you appreciate that too! In this post, I’m sharing Bentology and more healthy foods for school lunches. I also want to share this post with you from Food, Family and Chaos. Check out Lisa’s 4 Items that Promise to Make Packing Lunches Easier. I know we could all use some “easy” in our lives. Another helpful tip comes from an article titled Japan’s Answer to Boxed Lunch: The Bento Box.
I received some of the following products free to review.

Nature’s All Foods
We got to try these organic freeze-dried strawberries and apples. I mixed them together for a sweet and healthy treat. Natierra has more freeze-dried fruits and freeze-dried vegetables on their site. They make a great addition to a healthy lunch. I like that they are freeze-dried when they are very fresh. You can’t always get fresh fruits in season, but since these are fresh when they’re freeze-dried, you’ll get a lot of nutrition from them.

Take the Power Your Lunchbox Pledge
I’ve said this before, but it bears repeating. I love companies who give back. It is so important to bless others when you are blessed. Produce for Kids, in conjunction with several lunchbox-friendly companies, is supporting the Power Your Lunchbox Pledge. Now through September 22, these companies will make a collective $1 donation to Feeding America® children’s programs such as Kids Café, Backpack program and Child Hunger Corps when you take the pledge. The digital program has raised nearly $60,000 for Feeding America® programs that benefit families and children. Since its creation in 2002, Produce for Kids has raised more than $6 million to benefit children and families.
At Produce for Kids, you’ll find 50+ lunchbox-friendly healthy recipes, family-tested and approved by a registered dietitian. There are so many fun recipes kids will love.
