Sandwich Cookies with Cranberry Butter

You need to plan ahead when you make this recipe! Do you ever plan on making cookies only to find that you’re not going to have enough time? Like maybe you forgot that the dough needs chilled. I’m giving you your warning way up here at the top! You need to make the cranberry butter ahead of time! It’ll take a good 3 1/2 hours or so to prepare the cranberry butter, so plan ahead!

You’re going to need a slow cooker too. If you don’t have one, this Crock-Pot is a great choice!

  11. Repeat steps until you're completely out of dough

  12. Let cookies cool completely
  13. Pair up the cookies based on matching size and create 24 sandwich cookie shells

  15. Place the top cookie onto the bottom cookie and sandwich together

Recipe Notes

You can make the cookies while the cranberry butter is cooking. The total prep time and cook time are approximate. You know how to multitask, right?
