FROZEN 2 has an official trailer! Does it clear anything up? Maybe! If you’ve watched the trailer that dropped this morning, you heard the line in reference to Elsa’s powers: “Now we must hope they are enough.” Wow! We always thought Elsa’s powers were too much!
Frozen 2 and Elsa’s powers
Just in case you haven’t watched this yet, watch it now!
Why was Elsa born with magical powers? The answer is calling her and threatening her kingdom. Together with Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven, she’ll set out on a dangerous but remarkable journey. In FROZEN, Elsa feared her powers were too much for the world. In FROZEN 2, she must hope they are enough.
Breaking down the trailer a bit
I’m sure you’re wondering about the water horse, right? Me too! But the caption to this photo sort of explains a little bit about what that horse is.

So, this horse is a Nokk. Read this article and scroll down to the Scandinavian part to find out more about the Nokk. It is very cool. The Nokk myth reminds me of the Selkie myths of the Irish. Oh! I wonder if it has something to do with Elsa’s powers!

I love the above photo! Not only is it beautiful, but it is also mysterious because what answers are they searching for? That’s the million dollar question!

Elsa: Can I use your arm as an oar for this ice boat? We’ve got to go faster because my nether regions are “frozen.”
Olaf: Sure, Elsa, but if you lose it, you have to find another arm for me.
Okay, maybe that’s not what they’re gonna say, but it looks right to me.
What else do we know? Well, the rock trolls are back, and there are some Stonehenge-ish rocks that Elsa and Anna have to go through for some reason. And, there’s a lot of fog!
What did you think, and did I miss something that you picked up on? Let me know!
