Have some salad
Just one simple change to your diet could work wonders for your health. Make it a routine and a lifestyle choice to always have a salad with one meal. Lunch or dinner are the better choices because nobody wants to eat lettuce for breakfast. Therefore, put a few salad recipes in your recipe box, so you have a great side dish for different types of meals.
If you’re having red meat, go for a salad that is crunchy and flavorful. Use ingredients like horseradish, cabbage, carrots and onions. If you’re having white meat dishes such as chicken or fish, go for something lighter such as tomatoes, lettuce, watercress, lemon juice and cucumber. If you’re having a purely vegetarian or vegan dish, go for an exotic mix with pomegranate seeds, courgettes, plum tomatoes, beets, red cabbage, red onion and slices of peaches for example.
Pay attention to how your body feels
Most of us just get on with our day, ignoring any slight or moderate pain in our bodies. If you want to live a better, healthier life, it’s time to stop ignoring what your body is saying to you.
