Ingredients

1 cup all-purpose flour

12 cup cold salted butter, grated

5 tablespoons ice water

2 tablespoons granulated sugar

3 cups canned cherry pie filling

1 large egg, whisked

Instructions

1 Preheat the air fryer to 320°F. Cut parchment paper to fit the air fryer basket.

2 In a large bowl, mix flour, butter, ice water, and sugar until a soft ball of dough forms.

3 On a lightly floured surface, roll out dough into a 12× 16rectangle. Cut dough into six

rectangles by cutting across the center, then down into three columns. Each rectangle will be 4× 8.

4 Place 12 cup pie filling onto the lower half of each rectangle. Fold the top over the filling and press the edges closed with a fork.

5 Using a pastry brush, gently brush top of each pie with egg. Place pies on parchment in the air fryer basket, working in batches as necessary.

  • These sound perfect for a summer treat on the back patio, with a cup of coffee and a good book to read (and the time to read it). :)

    • I agree! Except I think I need to stay in the air conditioning! It's nice to "see" you!
