My review of Trusting the Rancher with Christmas

Trusting the Rancher with Christmas is another wonderfully heartwarming book from Cari Lynn Webb. It follows The Texas SEAL’s Surprise, but it can be read as a stand-alone. If you do have the time to read book one in the Three Springs, Texas series first, you’ll enjoy reading about your favorite characters again!

Paige Palmer is on “vacation” for the holidays and visiting her sister, Tara and her cousin, Abby. Her vacation wasn’t her idea, but after a huge blow-up at the veterinary clinic in Chicago  where she works, she’s put on a two week cool-off period. That blow-up is the best thing that could have happened to Paige, though she didn’t think so at the time. But things always have a way of working out. Not only does she get to reconnect with her family, she also gets to make a difference for a certain rancher. Since the regular vet isn’t available, Paige’s skills are needed. She’s obviously not licensed in Texas, so she’s wary of even helping out. But the way things unfold leads her to help out in spite of her misgivings. 

I absolutely loved Trusting the Rancher with Christmas. This is a book you won’t be able to put down. I devoured it in two days; it would have been one had I not decided to start binging on a television show. Oh the bad decisions we make! Make sure you’ve got lots of time when you pick up this book. 

One of the best things about Cari Lynn Webb’s books is the fact that they’re clean romance. They’re books you can pass on to anyone without fear of offending them. The romance in Trusting the Rancher with Christmas is adorable. I love that it takes place during the Christmas season because it’s so much fun reading about the Christmasy things Paige gets involved in. 

Once again, the characters in Three Springs, Texas just leap off the page.Of course, Paige and Evan are wonderfully well-written. They’re both determined and focused on where they want to go in life. And they both have decided romance isn’t in the cards for them. They’re satisfied with the lives they have. Or so they think. I adore Riley, Evan’s 6 year old daughter. I really enjoyed reading about the characters that reappear in this book. And I can’t wait for the next book to read about them again! 

I highly recommend Trusting the Rancher with Christmas. This sweet, heartwarming romance  will leave you with a smile on your face. Oh, you might cry too! I did. Most of my tears were happy ones though. Get your holiday season started with Trusting the Rancher with Christmas.
