Montana Reunion Book Review

Montana Reunion was an absolute delight to read! In the book, Beth becomes an instant mom to an almost 13 year old girl when he best friend dies from cancer. Hoping that a change of scenery will bring them a closer relationship – and honoring her friend’s request- they head to a summer camp that Beth spent time at  as a teen herself. The camp has changed in its focus a bit in that it hosts teens of all abilities. Beth’s new daughter has a lot of health struggles and has to rely on her wheelchair often…more often since her mom died. What Beth didn’t expect was being greeted by Zach, the first boy she ever kissed.

This book was so good! The characters have so much depth. They’re definitely not perfect. They argue and pout and experience a range of emotions. The past rears its ugly head and affects how Beth and Zach interact in the present. Neither wants to deal with the past because they think they already know the answers. And they’re afraid of being hurt. Isn’t this so typical of many of us? I know I can relate. But thankfully, with some outside meddling, the two begin to understand each other.

Montana Reunion is a very quick read since you won’t want to put it down. I quickly became immersed in the story and felt as if I were right there in the book. The book made me laugh, yet there are scenes that had me in tears. As I said before, it’s real. Life has its challenges, and I appreciate that the author gave these characters some serious ones.

If you love clean romance, I am sure you’ll enjoy Montana Reunion. I can’t wait for the next book!
