Yeah, you read that title right. If you’ve seen TOY STORY 3, you know exactly why you need a survival kit. Ask any mom which Pixar movie made her cry the most, and she will most likely answer TOY STORY 3. I remember bawling my eyes out the first time I saw it. I mean, yeah, it’s hilarious and all that, but Andy grew up! My kids grew up! Your kids either grew up or are growing up. How do we do this? Well, even though it’s not easy, we do it.

Toy Story 3
This week’s Pixar Fest post is obviously all things TOY STORY 3. Here, we’ve got your survival kit. Life, Family, Joy has Gluten-Free Strawberry Churros, and They Call Me T is sharing Lotso Disney Bounding outfits. TOY STORY 3 was released EIGHT YEARS AGO. Yes, I have to yell that. How is time passing this quickly? If you find a way to slow it down, let me know.
In TOY STORY 3, the toys are mistakenly delivered to a day-care center instead of the attic right before Andy leaves for college, and it’s up to Woody to convince the other toys that they weren’t abandoned and to return home.
Even though this one makes me cry the most, it’s probably my favorite of all the TOY STORY movies. I mean it’s got Spanish Buzz, Big Baby, Lots-o’-Huggin’ Bear, Ken & Barbie, Mr. Pricklepants…. It’s got it all. Action. Suspense. Humor. Romance. I love it, and I want you to watch it this week! But before you do, head to the store and make your very own TOY STORY 3 Survival Kit.
Toy Story 3 Survival Kit
First, you’re going to need something cute to put your survival kit items into. I found this box at the Dollar Tree! Fill your box or basket with things you need to survive the movie. Tissues are a must! Does chocolate make you feel better? Add some candy bars. You need a comforting, soothing drink, so grab a cute mug and your favorite tea and throw those in. Finally, you need something to hold onto like this cute, squishy kitty I got at Barnes & Noble. It’ll make you feel better. Trust me.
Print your own “Mom’s Happy Pills” label for some M & M’s and share it with another crying mom!
Toy Story Land
I know we’re celebrating Pixar Fest at Disneyland, but don’t forget that Toy Story Land opens June 30 at Walt Disney World! No matter which Disney Park you’re headed to, you will find Toy Story fun there!
