Rosie the dragon and Charlie are ready to tackle bedtime—dragon-style!
Rosie the dragon’s bedtime routine has been a little bumpy lately. But not to worry! Charlie is prepared with his lists, rules, and fire extinguisher—everything a boy needs to help guide his pet dragon (and best friend) to a peaceful night’s sleep. But with bath-time bubble trouble, fiery-hot pajamas, and stuffed animal search-and-rescues, tucking this dragon into bed is not an easy task. And what happens when thunder strikes? Snuggle up with this adorable duo as they conquer bedtime the best way: together!
For ages 4-8
My Book review of Rosie the Dragon and Charlie Say Goodnight
Rosie the Dragon and Charlie Say Good Night is an adorable book about the trials of getting ready for bed. If only our dragons (er, kids) knew how much they’ll cherish sleep when they are adults, bedtime would be so much easier! But dragons and kids like to delay the inevitable, and so does Rosie. She takes a super long, bubbly bath. Her pajamas make her way too hot. She can’t find her stuffed animal. You get the picture! Rosie’s just like our kids. She needs routine to make bedtime a happy time.
I think that this sweet book will become a favorite bedtime book with you and your little ones! You won’t even mind reading it over and over as part of bedtime at your house.
Praise
“This humorous story is a sweet representation of caretaking and patience, with a parallel that can extend to older and younger siblings as well as to parent-child relationships, perhaps making young readers a bit more self-reflective and empathetic. This dramatic bedtime tale…will satisfy many.” —Kirkus Reviews

Our daughter THRIVES on routine. So after dinner we do homework, spend a bit of time in family talking, then she takes a shower, brushes her teeth and gets in her pajamas and lays down while daddy reads her the bedtime story. Works every time.
