Will their business deal…
…give them more than they bargained for?

To appease her overbearing father, Carla told him that she’s engaged. She doesn’t, however, have a fiancé…yet! That’s where Franco comes in—if they marry temporarily, she’ll ensure that both of their companies will mutually benefit. Since neither wants a relationship, saying “I do” is strictly for business. But with their undeniable chemistry, can they keep it that way?

Falling for Her Convenient Groom Book Review

What do you do when your father doesn’t trust you to run the family business? He thinks you should settle down, get married, and have babies. You make a deal with a man you kind of know from your cousin’s wedding. This guy is totally against marriage, so he is perfect for your plan. Plus, it’s a mutually beneficial plan. You get to be in charge of your family’s restaurant business, and he gets his family’s spices back into those restaurants. Carla just knows her plan is foolproof so she approaches Franco, and the next thing you know, you’re married!

Falling for Her Convenient Groom is another example of Jennifer Faye’s adorable romance books. Though they’re not as  squeaky clean as the Heartwarming line, Faye never has anything inappropriate take place on the page. It’s more of a closed door assumption. And in this case, Hey, they’re married anyway! But who would have thought Carla would actually fall for Franco? And Franco for Carla? I guess that’s what happens when you marry someone who is intelligent, driven, and lovely to look at.

Falling for Her Convenient Groom is a fast-paced page-turner that you won’t want to put down. Carla and Franco are perfect for each other, and watching them fall in love was wonderful. I love that Gianna and Dario from Bound by a Ring and a Secret play a small role in the book too. If you’ve not read that one yet, I recommend you do! It’s not essential to the story, but it’s really cute. The story has its highs and lows, conflicts and resolutions. Carla and Franco have strong personalities and character traits that make them able to weather the storms.

Romance lovers, I think you’ll love how this story flows from beginning to end with lots of swoon-worthy moments to moments that make a relationship stronger. I highly recommend it!

If I could vacation at Lake Como, I would sit beside the water and read a good book and have a glass of wine and look at the water and reflect on life.
