My review of Caught by the Cowgirl

It’s been almost a year since his parents were in a fatal accident, and former rodeo star Will Sullivan is just trying to keep his family’s ranch afloat. However, as usual, Uncle Barry has big plans and big dreams. The problem is that those plans never quite work out the way he thinks. Maybe this time will be different. Unbeknownst to Will, Uncle Barry may have insinuated that he was the ranch owner when he invited a representative of a wind farm to check out the ranch and see if it would be suitable for their needs.

I absolutely loved Caught by the Cowgirl by Tanya Agler. When Will and Kelsea, the unexpected wind farm agent, first meet, we get a taste of Kelsea’s spunk and determination. Will quickly finds that appearances (literally!) can be deceiving. Circumstances beyond anyone’s control result in Kelsea staying at the farm with Will and Uncle Barry, as well as the farmhands who quickly come to adore Kelsea. These characters and many others are well-written and I quickly became attached to many of them. There are three older gentlemen who I absolutely adore. Since this is the first book in this new series set in Violet Ridge, I hope that these guys show up in future books.

Caught by the Cowgirl is a book that you can easily read in a day since you won’t want to put it down! I loved how the characters learn that they don’t have to prove themselves worthy by doing things they don’t enjoy. Following your dreams is worth it, and success isn’t measured by how much money you make. I also enjoyed the sense of community in the story. Violet Ridge maintains a small town feel while being a successful tourist destination. The town has that cozy feeling that I absolutely love in books.

Since this is in the Harlequin Heartwarming line, you can be sure that it’s completely clean while still being romantic. And the romance in Caught by the Cowgirl is so sweet. Watching the relationship between Kelsea and Will develop will warm your heart.

I highly recommend Caught by the Cowgirl for its wonderful characters, cozy setting, and sweet romance. I can’t wait to read the next book!
