The brand new Avengers movie, AVENGERS INFINITY WAR, is hitting theatres April 27, 2018. We’ve got to get some INFINITY WAR party planning done! What better way to celebrate the release of INFINITY WAR than with this Avengers cake.
Avengers Cake
This cake, made by my daughter who loves baking, is easy to make because you use a cake mix and canned frosting. Of course, you can make it homemade, but this is much faster!
She used 2 boxes of Funfetti cake mix and about 2 1/2 cans of white frosting. Just make the cakes according to the directions on the box, let them cool a bit, and put them in the freezer for a few hours. Here comes the good part….big reveal….this Avengers cake is a reveal cake! An Infinity Stones reveal cake!
You need a couple bags of regular M&M’s and some spring M&M’s for the purple Infinity Stones to make this Avengers cake. Molly cut the centers out of the 2 middle layers (there are 4 layers here) and filled it with orange, blue, yellow, green, purple, and red M&M’s. This means you have to pick out the brown ones. No biggie. My son ate them.
Molly used more M&M’s for the top and the sprinkles from a can of Funfetti frosting. She made the Avengers logo on the front of the cake.
I think this Avengers cake turned out really cute! It would be perfect for any Marvel INFINITY WAR party you’re planning. And, seriously, why wouldn’t you have a party?? - Mind Stone: The mind stone is yellow and is currently on Earth in Vision’s head.
- Reality Stone: The reality stone is red and is currently in Knowhere with The Collector.
- Power Stone: The power stone is purple and is currently on Xandar with the Nova Corps.
- Time Stone: The time stone is green and is currently on Earth with Doctor Strange.
- Space Stone: The space stone is blue and since THOR: RAGNAROK has been with Loki on the Statesman.
- Soul Stone: The soul stone is unknown! A lot of people were speculating that it is in Wakanda, but that wasn’t confirmed in BLACK PANTHER.

As of today, we are 50 days from April 27, 2018. I, for one, am glad there haven’t been a bunch of trailers released since I want to be totally surprised watching INFINITY WAR in the theatre. I get chills every single time I watch this!
