Adagio Teas

I am a big fan of tea. I drink it just about every day of the year. There is something about tea that is just so comforting. Coffee gives you a jolt, but tea gives you a feeling. Certain flavors and scents bring back memories and elicit feelings you associate with those scents. Drinking a certain herbal tea at night reminds me of being at my grandma’s house. Actually, a lot of teas remind me of my grandma because she was a big tea drinker too.

When I was contacted by Adagio Teas for a review, one of the suggestions they shared was their Fairy Tales Tea line. As soon as I saw this I knew exactly what I wanted my post theme to be. I’ve had some sweet Fairy Tale Board books I’ve been needing to review, but I could never find exactly the right time to post them. They fit perfectly with Adagio Teas.

Cinderella

Adagio Teas: Fandom Teas and Fairy Tale Tea Parties

Cinderella is a pumpkin tea blend to transport Cinderella away from the wicked stepmother, to the Royal Ball and the attention of her Prince. It is blended with honeybush tea, apple pieces, rose hips, cinnamon bark, natural pumpkin spice flavor, marigold flowers & blue cornflowers.  This blend would be perfect during fall too. I can imagine drinking it while enjoying a  warm muffin and snuggling in a cozy blanket. I love that this is a caffeine free tea because that makes it perfect for you to share with your little ones during a tea party!

During your Cinderella tea party, you can read First Stories: Cinderella. This book is a perfect introduction to this classic fairytale. Push, pull, and turn mechanisms bring the story to life and introduce all the main characters: Cinderella, her stepsisters, the handsome prince, and of course the fairy godmother. This well-loved fairy tale is beautifully imagined for a new generation by children’s illustrator Dan Taylor.

Belle

Adagio Teas: Fandom Teas and Fairy Tale Tea Parties

Adagio Teas has these amazing collections of “fandom” teas that, if I had unlimited funds, I could go nuts over! If you have ever been so obsessed with a show/movie that you’ve got to have “all the things,” I’ll bet you can relate. As soon as I saw that they had fandom teas, I went searching. Harry Potter, yep. Supernatural, yep. Merlin, yep. Sherlock, yep. You get the picture. You can buy entire sets of fandom teas, or you can choose just one tea out of the set to try.

In order to go with my fairy tale tea parties post theme, I went with this Belle sampler tin. It features Emma Watson as Belle from the live action Beauty and the Beast movie. Once you’ve tasted, you’ll agree: this elegant tea has got no parallel. With bold, yet refined notes of cream and citrus, this blend of Earl Grey Moonlight, Honeybush Orange, and Rose Hips will certainly be the Belle of any tea ball. Marigold Flowers and Lavender add a touch of floral flavor and beautiful color to this dreamy tea. This one does have a little bit of caffeine, so you may want to add lots of cream to your child’s cup.

A Beauty and the Beast themed tea party with your little one would be perfect with Belle tea and First Stories: Beauty and the Beast. This book is a perfect introduction to this classic fairytale. Push, pull, and turn mechanisms bring the story to life and introduce all the main characters: Beauty, her father, and of course the Beast! This well-loved fairy tale is beautifully imagined for a new generation by children’s illustrator Dan Taylor.

Your fairy tale tea party will be complete with some free Beauty and the Beast coloring pages for you and your little ones to color!

Rapunzel

Adagio Teas: Fandom Teas and Fairy Tale Tea Parties

Though I didn’t order any Rapunzel tea, there are several Rapunzel teas available from Adagio Teas. I love that no matter what “themed” tea you are searching for, you will most likely find it on Adagio Teas website.

A Rapunzel tea party should include First Stories: Rapunzel. It is the perfect introduction for young children to this classic fairytale. Push, pull, and turn mechanisms bring the story to life and introduce all the main characters: Rapunzel, the handsome prince, and of course the wicked witch! This well-loved fairy tale is beautifully imagined for a new generation by children’s illustrator Dan Taylor.

More from Adagio Teas

Adagio Teas has a lot from which to choose! Not only do they have many different blends, but they’ve also got different ways to prepare your tea. You can buy loose teas, bagged teas, and iced tea bags. They’ve got gift sets and tea ware as well. If you someone who is always trying different teas, you can sign up for their tea of the month club or their better tea club.

If you like to choose your own teas, you can do that as well. I chose several types to try, and I’ve loved every one.

Adagio Teas: Fandom Teas and Fairy Tale Tea Parties

Roobios Vanilla Chai

The Roobios Vanilla Chai blend of rooibos, vanilla, and Chai spice will dance on your palate, and sing to your soul. Beautiful clear and bright cup, with a crisp and tangy-sweet flavor. The heat of the spices is balanced beautifully with the natural smooth, mellow quality of the rooibos. Naturally caffeine free for an anytime treat.

White Peach

White Peach tea combines this Southern gem of a fruit with delicate, naturally sweet white tea from the Fujian province in China. Flowery peach-nectar aroma, juicy and very ripe flavor, slightly dry finish (just like peach fuzz!). Enjoy White Peach hot or iced.

Adagio Teas: Fandom Teas and Fairy Tale Tea Parties

Mango Green

Mango Green tea combines the vegetal goodness of green tea with the flavor of perfectly ripened mangoes. Juicy texture, with floral aromatics and sweetness.

Yerba Mate

Long hailed in South American countries as a healthy, energizing social beverage, Yerba Mate is finding a new audience in North America. Notable is its ability to provide energy without the jitteriness suffered by coffee imbibers. Its taste has been compared to that of green tea but with a more herbaceous, grassy character. Enjoyed hot or iced it can also be mixed with fruit juices for an energizing punch.

Adagio Teas: Fandom Teas and Fairy Tale Tea Parties

I HAD to order some iced teas since summer is coming! I love iced tea.

Wild Strawberry

Premium herbal tea in cold-brew pouches. Simply place overnight in a pitcher of water. Awake to find a tea rich in flavor and aroma. For quicker preparation, steep in hot water for five minutes and add ice. Wild Strawberry Iced Tea contains an herbal mixture of strawberries, apples, hibiscus flowers and rose hips. Naturally caffeine-free, perfect anytime of day.

Berry Blast Iced Tea

Berry Blast Iced Tea contains an herbal mixture of black currants, cranberries, raspberries, elderberries, bilberries, hibiscus flowers and rose hip. Naturally caffeine-free, perfect anytime of day.

Peach Oolong Iced Tea

Peach Oolong Iced Tea contains oolong tea from Taiwan with the summer flavor of perfectly ripened fruit. Be a peach and try this tea.

No matter which teas you crave, you are bound to find your favorites at Adagio Teas! Check out the fandom teas and let me know what you would try. Be sure to check out First Stories Fairy Tales for your little ones too! You will have so much fun having a storytime tea party!

Sounds like a fairy tale tea party is in the making, several times over. I personally love to drink tea and think it should always be a special time. Make and serve it up correctly and make a party out of it.

The white peach tea is the one I want to try. Maybe it’s because I’m southern. It sounds delicious! The fairy tale teas would be perfect to serve at a tea party.

Of course the Belle tea has rose hips! I was hoping. I actually always associate teatime with fairytales anyway. This is so fitting! Such gorgeous ingredients.
