Summer break is almost over
Where has the summer gone? At the end of June, my daughter and I both said, “Didn’t June just start?” We had a super fun June, with trips to Put-in-Bay, Kings Island and The Cincinnati Zoo.
I really need a July do-over though. I had stitches on my back for half of the month and the other half of the month I was sick! So not fair! Who gets sick in the summer? Oh well, gotta press on. And pressing on means getting back to business.
This August, back to business in this house means something different for each of us. My daughter, Molly, will be student teaching 6th and 7th grade language arts. My son, Kyle, will be entering his second year of college. I will be keeping you all happy with my writing (agree with me…it’s so much easier). Thank goodness for Walmart.com! With the three of us going in different directions, getting ready for back to college and back to middle school (this time teaching) is crazy.
Anything that helps make my life easier is something I want to share with you. I know we are all so busy that sometimes getting to the store just doesn’t happen. We love being able to shop for the things our family needs at our convenience.
Back to college and back to middle school (sort of)
I’ve loved having my kids home for the summer, but it’s time to get back into our school year routine. If you’ve got kids at home, you know that around this time of the year, you’ve got to get back into the “routine” mindset. No more sleeping in until noon….or all day in some cases.
If your children are going back to college like mine are, shopping online at Walmart is awesome! They know what they’re going to need for the upcoming school year, so they can add their needs to the online cart themselves. Molly knew some of the products she’d need for student teaching, and she got a lot of those needs met shopping online with Walmart.
Getting back to business this fall isn’t just about pens, paper, glue and crayons! It’s about hand sanitizer and antibacterial wipes! It’s about paper towels and computer ink. When I was in school, my school supply list was a lot different than it is today. Thankfully, shopping online with Walmart means you’re not running around to a lot of different stores. You can shop anytime 24/7 at your convenience and have the peace of mind that your purchases are satisfaction guaranteed. Plus you will be saving a lot of money thanks to Walmart’s Smart Rollbacks.
Yay for online shopping with Walmart!
The great thing about shopping online with Walmart (second only to saving a ton of money) is when the boxes begin to arrive. Package deliveries are such fun. Our boxes started coming and didn’t stop for 3 days! I made Molly wait to open them all at once. Patience is a virtue.
Then you get to dig in and get your hands on all of the awesome stuff you bought!
Stuff like hand sanitizer and antibacterial wipes because 6th and 7th graders can be really germy. And stuff like notebooks because you know you’ll need them since middle school kids are bound to forget paper…not to mention pencils and pens. A planner is a must for a soon-to-be teacher as are computer paper and ink.
The online shopping experience with Walmart makes it very easy to save money. You can compare brands and prices. Having the option to shop Walmart’s Every Day Low Prices and check out the Smart Rollbacks allows you to get the best deals possible. I saved more than $25 this way! And just look at all of the things we were able to buy online.
See for yourself how much you can save by taking advantage of Walmart’s Every Day Low Prices and Smart Rollbacks while shopping for back to school, back to college, and back to business by using Walmart.com!
