I don’t know about you, but I am so ready for summer! We had our “unofficial summer” kick-off on Memorial Day at my parents’ house with a barbecue.  I’m planning on having many more summer celebrations with RITZ Crisp & Thins. RITZ Crisp & Thins recently debuted two new flavors: Barbecue and Cheddar. Of course, I headed to Walmart to buy some and took these new flavors for everyone to try. Summer Celebrations Include RITZ Crisp & Thins

After a long cold winter, and a wet spring, I am so ready for summer! Though summer hasn’t officially begun, it finally feels like it’s here! Summer means cook-outs, pool parties, road trips and fun!

Cook-outs

So, like I said, we had our first cook-out of the season on Memorial Day. We didn’t eat outside because it just wasn’t warm enough! It’s funny how much difference a week or two make when it comes to the weather. Oh, who am I kidding? In Ohio, we can have the heat on in the morning and the air on by noon! But, I digress.

Snacks like RITZ Crisp & Thins are a huge part of summer celebrations. You want something both easy and delicious and these are both! It’s so convenient to run to Walmart for a few bags of Cheddar and Barbecue (and the other flavors!) RITZ Crisp & Thins. You may want more than a few bags actually because they’re going to be popular with your family and friends.

Speaking of these being popular with family, the votes are in in this family. Though we all like both the new cheddar and barbecue flavors of RITZ Crisp & Thins, cheddar won 6-1 in terms of favorites. My mom was the barbecue fan. I think the rest of us just love everything cheese! I mean, it’s cheese!

Road trips

Another fun part about summer, at least for us, is road trips. These are usually just day trips to someplace that’s not too far away. But, those places are far enough away for us to need something to snack on in the car. I know we all have our favorite road trip snacks, and if you asked ten people their favorite, you’d get ten different answers. However, you have to have a variety of snacks, right? You might have a favorite road trip snack, but variety is the spice of life.

RITZ Crisp & Thins new flavors have got to be on your list of snacks to take on your next road trip. Have you ever watched the TV show The Middle? Anytime they took a road trip, Frankie (mom) was in charge of packing the blue snack bag. Well, yeah, she packed it full of snacks. She never remembered to put it in the car though!
