If you use these to straighten your teeth, you will be able to keep on top of bacteria much more easily.
Drink More Water
Drinking more water is probably the most common piece of health advice out there, and it can help with oral bacteria too. When your mouth is dry, bacteria sticks to your teeth and gums where it can breed. But when you drink water, you wash a lot of it away and it does not multiply as quickly. So, even if you won’t do it for the host of other health benefits, start drinking more water to reduce oral bacteria.
Eat Fibrous Foods
When you brush your teeth, you physically remove the bacteria from your teeth. But did you know that eating fibrous foods like raw fruits and vegetables can do the same? Adding more fruit to your diet never hurt anybody, so it’s a good habit to get into anyway. Apples are particularly good for cleaning your teeth, so try to eat at least one a day.
Brushing your teeth is the bare minimum when it comes to oral health. These are all good methods for removing more bacteria and keeping your teeth and gums healthy.
