Summer break is almost over
Where has the summer gone? At the end of June, my daughter and I both said, “Didn’t June just start?” We had a super fun June, with trips to Put-in-Bay, Kings Island and The Cincinnati Zoo.
I really need a July do-over though. I had stitches on my back for half of the month and the other half of the month I was sick! So not fair! Who gets sick in the summer? Oh well, gotta press on. And pressing on means getting back to business.
This August, back to business in this house means something different for each of us. My daughter, Molly, will be student teaching 6th and 7th grade language arts. My son, Kyle, will be entering his second year of college. I will be keeping you all happy with my writing (agree with me…it’s so much easier). Thank goodness for Walmart.com! With the three of us going in different directions, getting ready for back to college and back to middle school (this time teaching) is crazy.
Anything that helps make my life easier is something I want to share with you. I know we are all so busy that sometimes getting to the store just doesn’t happen. We love being able to shop for the things our family needs at our convenience.
Back to college and back to middle school (sort of)
I’ve loved having my kids home for the summer, but it’s time to get back into our school year routine. If you’ve got kids at home, you know that around this time of the year, you’ve got to get back into the “routine” mindset. No more sleeping in until noon….or all day in some cases.
If your children are going back to college like mine are, shopping online at Walmart is awesome! They know what they’re going to need for the upcoming school year, so they can add their needs to the online cart themselves. The great thing about shopping online with Walmart (second only to saving a ton of money) is when the boxes begin to arrive. Package deliveries are such fun. Our boxes started coming and didn’t stop for 3 days! I made Molly wait to open them all at once. Patience is a virtue.
Then you get to dig in and get your hands on all of the awesome stuff you bought!
Stuff like hand sanitizer and antibacterial wipes because 6th and 7th graders can be really germy. And stuff like notebooks because you know you’ll need them since middle school kids are bound to forget paper…not to mention pencils and pens. A planner is a must for a soon-to-be teacher as are computer paper and ink.

I am so happy to be able to order school supplies online from Walmart. Our local stores are always madhouses around this time of year. I’ll save myself the trouble and order online instead of dragging cranky kids to the store with me!

Shopping on line has become a favorite way to go shopping here in the last year. I can take my time, compare prices and shipping fees and really find what I really like, want and need.

Walmart always has such good deals on back-to-school needs. I love ordering online and having it delivered to my front door. I also order birthday and Christmas gifts from Walmart.com. It’s so easy and man, do I like easy!

I love shopping online! This would have come in handy back when my daughters were in school. My oldest is going to college this year, and luckily shops for her own things now. My youngest is homeschooled, and we didn’t need any supplies this year. However, I’ll keep Walmart in mind when we are in need of more paper/notebooks/etc.

We are right there with you as far as thinking about our typical routine and starting to say goodbye to summer. Walmart is always our one stop shop for all school related essentials. They have the best prices by far!

I know people love Amazon but I actually do a lot of my shopping on Walmart.com. There are things that are not in the actual stores that are online that I can buy for cheap and they have a lot of options so I am sure back to school shopping and supplies are plentiful on the site.

Summer has come and gone in the twinkling of an eye and it is those, “back to school times”. Reminds me of getting back to school after enjoying the summer hols, used to feel miserable. Walmart has quite a range to start you off once again!

This is seriously why I love back to school shopping online so much! Especially with my young children I don’t have to drag them around from store to store I already know what size they need and I just order online!
