Keep Your Kids Fueled for School with these Healthy Foods

Healthy Living

Thanks for sharing!

A couple of weeks ago, I shared several healthy lunch and snack ideas for back to school. I’ve got a few more things to share with you today. These came a little late because of the hurricanes, but these are definitely some healthy foods to keep your kids fueled for school.

Just sandwich spreads, Crunchies fruit snacks and Justin's nut butters

Disclosure: I received the following products free to facilitate this post.

Justin’s nut butters

Justin’s has a large variety of nut butter products that your kids will love. My favorites are these squeezable packs. You just squish one up to mix it well and then eat it with fruit or crackers. You could even eat it plain if you wanted! My favorite way to eat Justin’s squeeze packs in on apples. I cut up and apple and squeeze some on. It is a great treat and ones your kids will love either after school or during lunch! The banana chips and nut butter snack packs are another great lunch treat option.

Justin’s makes their products in small batches to ensure a higher quality of product. It works because these are delicious!

Justin’s offers exceptional, great tasting nut butters for all, available in 16 oz. jars and 1.15 oz. squeeze packs that provide on-the-go protein, convenience and portion controlled options.

Snack Packs

Perfect for dipping, scooping and devouring, Justin’s now offers Snack Packs
that come in four delicious nut butter and pretzel combinations and two
mouth-watering peanut butter and banana chip match ups, all for just 180-
210 calories per pack.

Just Products

Just Products are Non-GMO, all natural and an essential to keep in the fridge for lunch box creations. What’s great is everything is egg-free, so no allergy worries at school. Just can stay outside the fridge throughout the long school/after school day without spoiling.

I love the Just Awesomesauce! It is similar to tartar sauce, but so much better! It’s got capers in it, so maybe that’s why I like it so much. I could pretty much eat this on anything. The mayo tastes like mayo, so your kids aren’t going to complain. This is a product you’ve got to pick up for school lunches. I love tuna sandwiches, and by using these products instead of mayo with egg, I don’t have to worry about it spoiling if I’m going out.

Be sure to check out all of the delicious recipes on Just’s site. There is so much variety that you’re bound to find several things you’ll love.

Crunchies vegetable and fruit snacks

Crunchies

Packed with nutrients and a satisfying crunch, Crunchies’ freeze-dried snacks are an easy way for kids to enjoy their fruits & veggies. Unlike chips and other processed snack foods, these tasty single-ingredient snacks have zero sugar added and are non-GMO, gluten-free, vegan, and kosher certified. Available in strawberry banana, mango, beets, and more, Crunchies are also the perfect size for school lunches and backpacks!

Crunchies are so good. I’ll admit, I haven’t tried the beet crunchies, but I’m sure they’re really good too. My favorite is probably the mango. I love the texture, and the flavor is amazing. I don’t eat dried fruits much because of their texture, but these are freeze-dried. They are “crunchy” just like the name says.

Another thing I love about Crunchies is their trace ability. Want to know where their food comes from? They’ll show you! They are the only freeze-dried brand that owns their supply chain from field to fork. Crunchies sources produce directly from the trusted farmers who grow it.

Dried veggie chips are my favorite snack and beets are my favorite! My son takes almond butter to school and I’m always sneaking some as I prefer it to peanut butter.
