A God for All Seasons

by Patti Tingen

In the United States, we have the great privilege to worship as we please. We don’t need to worry about the government breaking up our worship services and hopefully we never will. We also have the right to read our Bibles without being afraid of anyone arresting us.

My Review of A God for All Seasons

A God for All Seasons is a wonderful book based on Ecclesiastes 3:1. “There is a time for everything, a season for every activity under heaven.” Ecclesiastes 3:1

Author Patti Tingen uses the seasons and months to describe the different seasons of our lives. Each month has a different devotional using a topic according to the season the month falls in.

A God for All Seasons is very well written, and each devotional is told in a conversational way that is really easy to read. And each devotion I’ve read so far has taught me a great lesson. I’m taking this book month by month and have read 5 months worth so far. I’ve checked out the topics of the other chapters in anticipation!

I absolutely love this devotional book. It has been a comfort to me and has challenged me as well. I definitely recommend it to help you in your walk with God.
